Undeliverable Packages
Very rarely packages shipped Via Canada Post come back to
us as “Undeliverable Packages”
Our carriers may deem a package undeliverable for one of
the following reasons:
If the address is incorrect or outdated, the package is
typically returned to us by the carrier. Please double-check your address
carefully when placing an order.
Other Address Problems:
In rare cases, the carrier may make a mistake and leave
the package at a different address from what was printed on the label. In such
rare cases we can file an insurance claim for you.
An insurance Claim can be filed with Canada Post only if a package is not delivered or is missing after 45 Business days.
Failed Delivery Attempts:
Canada Post will leave a notice on your door and send you
an email advising you of the attempted delivery, and that the package is now
available at your local postal outlet for pick up. This notice/email will
include a phone number to contact for more information. Your package will be
available for pick up for 10 business days, after which it will be returned to
us, the sender.
Refused by Recipient:
If a gift recipient is not expecting a gift, they may
refuse the package if they believe it was sent to them in error. If you still
want to send these items, you may want to let the recipient know that a
surprise is on the way.
